No not my age you cheeky blighters! Our 50th geocache!
We went to visit Mel & Judi while Anthony was still in the US (supposedly working but busy grabbing Caches instead!). Because he had managed to bag 4, if we could grab two more, the Swindon Scabs would have made it to the big 5-0. That is of course if he hadn't beaten us to it (well you never know with the time difference!)
As Mel hates to lose a race, we went to lunch at Hillers via The Salford Series #2. After a quick find, and a not so quick lunch, off we went to #3, traipsing across a beetroot field in the process - stupid farmer not having kept the public footpath free of planting! Grabbed the cache and then I rang Anthony to see if we had won the race. Since he was in a bagel bar having breakfast, we managed it easily!
Thanks to Hilliers fantastic farm shop, we treated ourselves to a cream tea, and after a trip to the allotment to pick veggies, we headed home having made it to 50 caches. It seems to have taken us rather a long time. Maybe the next 50 will be a bit quicker!
