Where did the time go?

I can't believe it, my baby has started school. When did he grow up so fast? How can he be at school already?

I know he's only gone into the nursery class, but sending him off wearing his school uniform it feels just the same! He looks so grown up, and he acts it too.



With him being an August birthday he is one of the youngest in the class, but you'd never know it! He went straight in on the first morning, sat down to play with the playdoh and that was it. He was too busy talking to Mrs Shore, to even notice whether I was there or not. I could have left but its not fair to go without saying goodbye, so I told him I'd be back at 11.30 to pick him up. We had a bit of a lower lip quiver, but then it was back to playdoh!

On Thursday (his second day) he came home with a couple of pieces of artwork - a lovely messy painting, and a piece he had done on the computer!! He told me that he had been working on his own and then the teacher had come to help. How the hell does he know how to work a computer??? I wouldn't know where to start to create what he had done!! Next thing I know he'll be asking to do it at home - then what do I do?!!
