Why is it that we have to wait until Spring to wake up to a morning like this?
And why, oh why did it have to be a Sunday when we were rushing around to get ready for church and preparing to have friends over for lunch?
I want my snow in December or January when it's supposed to be winter, not in April when I am all geared up for Spring!
Oh well at least the boys enjoyed it!
Amazingly, by the time they all got back from church, it had nearly all melted as it was such a gorgeous day. Ben and Sam were a little sad as it meant that they couldn't build a snowman, but it was great as we had our friends the Harrises over for lunch and it meant that they boys could run off some energy outside.
It was so nice to spend some quality hours with our friends, rather than hurried chats over very quick cups of coffee. I think by the time they finally left it was 6.00pm. Such a chilled out day - it was a great end to the weekend. We must do it more often!
