New Year - New Me?

Hmmmmn, well not really, but it sounds good for the New Year doesn't it?

Since my last blog back in October, life has been a bit of a rollercoaster of nightmares and lovely moments.

Many, many trips to the hospital and lots of injections and tablets later, Anthony is nearing the end of his 3 months treatment for DVT. However, his blood thickness has not stabilised, so chances are he may have to continue treatment for a while.

Both our boys played Joseph in their respective nativity plays before Christmas, with Ben doing his first singing solo - looks like he's going to take after his mum! We were so proud of both of them and got some great photos.

Plans for a nice family Christmas were made, the first in our new home, with our woodburner and limestone fireplace which was installed the week before Christmas. Sadly the whole family (extended too) were ill over the festive period and we spent Boxing Day evening in Gloucster Royal hosptial as Anthony's eye had swollen so badly it looked worse than Ricky Hatton after his fight! They treated him for Conjunctivitis, but I have never seen a case that bad. A pretty typical Christmas for the Mazzotta / Scrivin families!

We went to a geocache bash run by my sister just before New Year and Ben and I spent a lovely day in London at the Museum of Childhood (they had been studying toys at school before Christmas) this week.

So here we are in the New Year, looking forward to the boys going back to school and with me hoping that I am going to get myself organised this year and as a result less stressed and on time for things! I guess that is kind of a new years resolution so we will see if I stick to it!

For those of you who have got this far, Happy New Year and I hope that 2008 is a year of contentment, health and achievement for you.
