Life in General

Yes, I know I haven't posted for ages, but nothing terribly exciting has been happening & I have had my head down working hard on my aromatherapy case studies.

Life has ticked along for the past couple of weeks. Appointments with the taxman, case study clients, trips to the osteopath, taking care of the boys, a very expensive MOT (over £500!), choir and dancing.

We did have a lovely family day out to Caldicot castle last Friday, well worth a visit if you want a nice break from the school holidays!

The boys loved the Alice In Wonderland trail where they had to find all the characters from the story. We climbed the towers and down to the dungeons and I was pleasantly surprised how interested the boys were in everyting.

We had a picnic lunch in the courtyard, under the shade of a gorgeous tree. Everyone else was out in the scorching sun (yes, amazingly we had wonderful weather for our day trip!)
After lunch we played draughts on a giant size board and ate welshcakes in the castle tearooms, before going out to the parkland to feed the ducks on the lake & find a couple of well hidden geocaches. After a fish & chip supper when we got home, the boys literally fell into bed. They were exhausted!

Looking forward to this weekend, life gets much more exciting. We are off to London in the morning (without the boys) to go and see Joseph at the Adelphi theatre. It seems like ages ago that I booked the tickets, and I can't wait. Plus we get a lie in on Sunday morning - luxury. Who knows, we might even manage breakfast in bed!
